February 7, 2025 - Bay of Islands, New Zealand

Dear friends and family,

Today we reached the Bay of Islands, and it was like stepping into a postcard. The turquoise waters and lush green hills were breathtaking, and the rich history of this area added depth to its beauty. I joined an excursion that cruised the bay and went to the famous “Hole in the Rock".

I enjoyed the ride through the bay, marveling at the stunning landscapes and spotting playful dolphins. They swam right alongside our boat! This is a place I’ll never forget.

I tried frog legs for dinner - they taste like chicken!
